ARTICLE X*: MEMBERS (*) Bylaws of American Moslem Foundation Section 10.01. Qualification. Membership in the corporation shall be open to all Muslims regardless of their national origin, denomination, race, sex, or color of skin. All members shall accept the basic tenets of Islam and conduct themselves with Islamic dignity. All members agree to abide by the corporation's Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws. Section 10.02. Manner. A candidate for membership to the corporation shall apply for membership in the manner designated by the Membership Committee... No person may become a member of the corporation until his or her application has been approved by the Membership committee or the Board of Directors... Section 10.03. Classes. There shall be three (3) classes of members: (a) Sustaining Members; (b) Full Members; and (c) Senior Members. Section 10.03.01. Sustaining Members. Sustaining Members are members who sustain their membership by the payment of monthly dues in the amount and manner stated in their approved application... Section 10.03.02. Full Members. Full members are members  whose payments of monthly dues have accumulated to the sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1000.00) and who continue to maintain their monthly dues. Each Full Member has the right to vote for candidates for the Board of Directors, and is eligible for consideration by the Board of Directors for a discount in the cost of a burial site in the All Muslim Cemetery. Section 10.03.03. Senior Members. Senior Members are members who have maintained three consecutive years of membership as a Full Member and who continue to maintain their monthly dues.
