Welcome to the online home of the American Moslem Foundation, a registered
charitable (non-profit) foundation in the state of The AMF
is STRICTLY a NON-POLITICAL organization; it is more a religious and
educational institution. The Foundation promotes efforts toward safeguarding
the religious identity of the future generation of Muslims through its
educational programs and community building activities. We believe that these
efforts will contribute toward their success and welfare in their new
environment and adds to the diversity of the American Society. We do not

The AMF
was founded in 1988. In early stages of its development it became
obvious that we needed concrete Islamic institutions such as all-Muslim
cemetery, mosque, and educational center for our community building
activities and religious education of our children. Therefore The
House of Mercy Project was planned and made a priority for our actions. The AMF
is steadily looking toward the future, with the efforts toward maintaining
the cultural identity and promoting social welfare of our children. We have a
strong sense of stewardship for the heritage and the religion that we all
share. We are all-inclusive, welcoming members and participants without
regard to the race, national origin or religious school of thought. However
